Space, dormant in its vast multiplicity, infinitely imposing and infinitesimally constrained, effortlessly encourages the expansion of life as variable entities clash and nurture.
The Earth harmlessly going about its peculiar business with modest imaginative gusto, oblivious and unaware of the wildcat foe covetously hovering over its oceans.
Diamond thieves simultaneously gather to heuristically heist a local stash, never tiring as they search for newfound brazen idle opportunities.
The alien industriously descends from the jaded heavens with famished alarm, in search of coal and indeed diamonds to cohesively fuel its massive appetite.
The countries of the world critique the wanton destruction of their lands, and desperately attempt to find a way to fight the amorphous extraterrestrial.
The diamond thieves are also thwarted as they intricately strategize, the nebulous beast consistently showing up to pejoratively ruin their audacious plans.
Fortunately, a good natured scientist is respectfully tasked with finding an answer, and as he notes that wasp venom petrifies Dogora's cells, the army scrambles to reproduce the noxious poison.
Will they be in time to stop Dogora from drastically reducing the world's coal supply?
The globe languishing in darkness.
As the lights go out forever.
It's funny how much things change as the decades pass and new trends develop, was there a backlash against Dogora's defence of coal, or was it simply regarded at the time as a source of energy?
Decades later with remarkable technologies that can harness the power of sun and wind, coal is still used by many countries to fuel their industries etc.
Had Dogora exhausted the world's coal supply would such technologies not have taken a more lasting hold, and would the economies of the postmodern world not be more rooted in green enthusiasm?
Transitions.
How to make the grand transitions without loss of employment and tradition, the solid embrace of the untested new ruffling feathers for mass production?
Take it a day at a time and make wise decisions based on lucid counsel.
We might come to a consensus some day.
Recent events making me feel optimistic.
